1. Snow is pretty at first, but then it starts looking like this.
2. I'm looking forward to putting up the Christmas decorations.
3. Firefly is still the best TV series ever!
4. One of my favorite old tv shows is The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
5. I'm done with winter. Already.
6. The most enjoyable thing around the holidays is the fa la la la la.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to turkey soup, tomorrow my plans include more beading, and Sunday, I want to go to rehearsal!

Friday Fill-in
1. My stomach full, again.
2. Crash potatoes is what I ate the most of on Thursday.
3. The yard is full of fallen leaves.
4. Home is where I'd rather be at any given time.
5. The smell of Chanel No. 5 reminds me of my mother.
6. A good book is what I need right now!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to sitting, tomorrow my plans include cleaning up the woods :-) and Sunday, I want to bead!

Friday Fill-in
1. Please feel free to recommend your favorite books.
2. When I stir the grain for a batch of Rick's beer I can't help sniffing it occasionally. Well, okay--the whole time.
3. My favorite thing to cook is whatever I have the energy and ingredients for.
4. Reading is something I can't get enough of.
5. That's the thing I love most about it. what the heck??
6. A Shetland pony always makes me think to myself, what the heck would anyone want with one of those nasty little creatures?
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to spending time with Rick, tomorrow my plans include sewing beads onto Christmas stockings and Sunday, I want to keep doing that!

3. Lucky is my step-brother.
4. Sleeping is something I take very seriously.

Friday Fill-in
1. Right now, I'm feeling icky. Some sort of stomach thing.
2. By the fire with Rick is where I want to be.
3. How does one endure the time left until Obama is president?
4. Practically nothing keeps me on track.
5. Please don't listen to country music.
6. My family fills me with joy. So does the fact that Tampa Bay won game 2!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to feeling better, tomorrow my plans include swapping out summer clothes for winter clothes and Sunday, I want to go back to Helen and look at colorful trees!

Friday Fill-in

3. Why so many people voted for GW is beyond comprehension.
4. Something is out there, it's big, blue, and wet. Hey, it's a swimming pool!
5. If my life were a sitcom, it would be titled You Should Probably Watch Something Else.
6. Sitting on my back porch, I see Sherwood Forest.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to cool air, tomorrow my plans include planting a tiny lawn, and Sunday, I want to eat salmon!

Friday Fill-in
1. Oh, I can't wait until I have a chile right out of our garden.
2. Leftovers is the first thing I see when I open my refrigerator.
3. I never leave home without glasses.
4. If I were a condiment, I would be mustard because it's Rick's favorite.
5. Wallpaper is really high up on my list of pet peeves.
6. The last thing I thought of before I went to bed was wallpaper.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to more thunderstorms, tomorrow my plans include a road trip to find peaches and pralines, and Sunday, I want to roast hotdogs!

Friday Fill-in
1. Holidays in the summer are sandy!
2. Chiles are my favorite things to grill; however, Rick is the grillmaster 98% of the time!
3. My thoughts are mine :-)
4. Smoked leg of lamb is what I'm most looking forward to this weekend!
5. My favorite book so far this summer is The Lone Pilgrim by Laurie Colwin.
6. Making love is the best way to begin a day.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to fireworks, tomorrow my plans include recovering from Friday's festivities and Sunday, I want to move furniture around!

Friday Fill-in

3. My large collection of images inspired me to start blogging.
4. Strawberries are best with rhubarb in a pie. Or just-picked.
5. I'm in a space where I'm not remembering my dreams, so, in the last dream I remember having, I don't remember having it!
6. The most enjoyable time to go for a walk is whenever there are shells to be found on the seashore.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to spending last hours with Ronnie, FM, and the girls, tomorrow my plans include many hours on a plane, and Sunday, I want to see my Rick and celebrate Father's Day! And talk to my dad on the phone, of course.
