It's..

I am tired from working.
I want a glass of wine.
I want a kitty.
I bought a new book and I don't like it.
I have mosquito bites and a blister.
I don't wanna make dinner.
Every surface in my house has pollen on it.
Only one of the chile seeds has sprouted. Maybe I got bad seeds.
Maybe I'm a bad seed.
I hear sirens.
I think that's all.
Sigh.

And for Wednesday..
A book meme lifted from Frank.
0. Take five books off your bookshelf.
1. Book #1 -- first sentence
2. Book #2 -- last sentence on page fifty
3. Book #3 -- second sentence on page one hundred
4. Book #4 -- next to the last sentence on page one hundred fifty
5. Book #5 -- final sentence of the book
6. Make the five sentences into a paragraph.
We finally have floor-to-ceiling built-in bookshelves, which made this meme a lot easier! Okay, there are still piles of books all over, but I limited myself to those on shelves.
I'm a modern man, digital and smoke-free; a man for the millenium. The rice was obviously scorched, the meat dried out, the dessert burnt. And there in the middle of that relentless, monotonous bed, I spotted one: a violent eruption of red on a chaste canary petal. He rode no horse. As the afternoon sun turned the ship's mast and sails to gold, a single tear rolled from beneath one smoky lens and journeyed down her cheek.
Book #1 -- When Will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops? ~ George Carlin
Book #2 -- Like Water for Chocolate ~ Laura Esquivel
Book #3 -- The Botany of Desire ~ Michael Pollan
Book #4 -- West with the Night ~ Beryl Markham
Book #5 -- The Voyage of the Bassett ~ James Christensen
