This year, I'm inclined to accept General Beauregard Lee's prediction of an early Spring. Beau is Georgia's groundhog, who has a rather dismal prognostication record. Nevertheless.. today is February 8 and it's in the mid-70s
. We have all the doors and windows open. The daffodils and hyacinths already have buds, the tulips and white narcissus foliage broke ground over a week ago, and most of the trees are starting to show tiny bits of green. I'm ready!! Hit me with Spring!
(It's a crummy photo, I know!)
